How to Order a Repeat Prescription
Repeat prescriptions will be issued at the doctor's discretion and are normally for patients on long term treatment.
Please make sure to confirm a pharmacy to collect your medication from as you will no longer be able to collect paper prescriptions from the surgery.
Prescription requests are processed within 2 working days not including the day you make the request.
Prescription requests can also be made in the following ways
- By downloading the NHS App
- In writing
- In person at the surgery: Repeat prescriptions can be supplied by returning the repeat prescription request form attached to your prescription. Tick the items required and place your form in the prescription box at reception. Your medication review date will also be displayed on this form.
We are unable to take orders or issue prescriptions at weekends, public holidays or out of normal surgery hours.
Please allow two full working days before collection and make allowances for weekends and public holidays. Prescription requests will not be taken over the telephone.
